It has been a really easy week. We had the day off yesterday for Pongal. It is kind of like Thanksgiving where they bless all of the old and new crops for the year and eat lots of rice and sugar cane. I hear that they decorate their cows today too and have cow runs. We always have Thursday and Fridays off too, so I am not sure what we are going to do today. Maybe lay out on the roof of our Hostel…. rough life! We are going to go to Bangalore this weekend. We could have gone early- but it is a lot more fun to travel together. Other than that there is not much to say. We had an international party in our room on Tuesday night to say goodbye to the boy from Tasmania. We also had to send our Malaysian friend home on Sunday. It is going to be really sad to see everyone else go before we do. I think I might have to make a trip to see some of them! I have come down with a little cold. It isn’t too bad though. Really that is about all I have this time….I will let you know how our trip goes.

Got borh of your books mailed. It was a bit tough due to the fact I did not have internet for a while. I switched to Time Warner for internet and had a few days of isolation. Both of your books are in the hands of their buyers, however. Finally warmed up today to around 50. It was -4 the other morning and it snowed on Friday, enough to shut down I35 to downtown. The house next door is on the market for $85,000. I am thinking about buying it and opening up the backyard. K-state is about to be 0-3 in the big 12 this year. They are really missing Beasly/Walker. Frank Martin is about to blow!!! Just burned the last of the firewood, but i plan to get more.
I cannot get Telly to use the Pedi- Paws, yet. Twinkie also dislikes it. He loves his winter cut, though.
Enjoy your warmth.

Hi Erika D love ya, love ya love ya.
Was -15 degrees last Thursday night, with only four inches of new snow in Detroit. I didn't go out of the house Friday. Ronnie brought home the pizza, after working all day, nursing. I'm so lucky to know ya. India is lucky to get you for a while. You're a good ambassador for the U.S., Kansas, K.U. Medical School, nursing, Dunbars etc. etc. etc. Feel like I'm in India with ya. Would feel more like it if you wrote everyday, and also, you would have a record of everything. You might be forgetting a few details? Your spelling is very good considering. Will you be giving up your flip-flops when you get back to the States?
